Job Title: Electrical Site Engineer

We are seeking a skilled electrical site engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with experience in electrical site engineering, commissioning, and electrical installations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and support the design team in drawing and technical document preparation.
  • Inspect and test electrical panels, motors, earthing pits, and distribution boards.
  • Verify bills of quantities and ensure proper procurement, controlling material received, and maintaining records.
  • Provide regular updates to the project team and management on work performed, plan, budget, and overall status.
  • Conduct weekly and daily review meetings with the Project Manager & Contractor site engineer and resolve site-related issues ensuring site clearance for electrical activities.
  • Monitor and schedule electrical activities, coordinate with contractors, and execute projects.
  • Manage manpower for timely project completion.
  • E nsure all work adheres to EHS requirements.
  • Prepare as-built drawings according to site conditions.
  • Certify material reconciliation statements.
  • Certify supply and installation RA bills and final bills.
  • Erect bus ducts.
  • Create earthing pits, grid earthing for panels, DBs, and electrical panels, utility & process equipment earthing, etc.
  • Manage critical spare parts.
  • Undertake preventive and predictive maintenance work for electrical and equipment.
  • Prepare and submit final handover work completion certificates.
  • Install power and lighting transformers, DG, HT/LT panels, PCC panels, iMCC panels, LDB, PDB, LP, ELP, battery banks.
  • Install wiring and industrial light fittings, FLP, non-FLP, and commercial light fittings.
  • Install street light fittings and weatherproof light fittings.
  • Lay cable trays, HT/LT cables, power, control, and instrumentation, and FAS cables.
Requirements:

This role requires experience in pharmaceutical or chemical projects. The ideal candidate will be skilled in electrical site engineering, commissioning, electrical projects, electrical installations, and electrical panel work.
