Job Title: Team Lead

This role involves strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement and technical oversight to deliver project outcomes. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, experience working in a team environment and excellent communication abilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Project advisory package delivery ensuring quality and timelines are met.
  • Leading, planning and managing personnel assignments within budget.
  • Coordinating project communications with key partners, stakeholders and consortium members.
  • Providing technical leadership for the assignment including active engagement in stakeholder consultations, workshops and key meetings.
  • Offering technical backstopping to field assessment and planning teams.
  • Preparing regular progress and technical reports as per project deadlines.

Required qualifications include:

  • Master's degree in Environmental Policy, Economics, Forestry or related discipline.
  • Proficiency in English & Hindi (B2 level).
  • 12 years of professional experience in sustainability and natural resources management.
  • 8 years in business development, value chain promotion and market linkages.
  • 5 years of management/leadership experience as project team leader or manager.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership, team management and multi-disciplinary coordination skills, strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation abilities, strategic planning and results-oriented approach and excellent oral and written communication skills.
