Job Title: Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering complex data-driven initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments.

You will contribute to large-scale planning of strategies, design, code, test, debug, and document projects and programs associated with technology domains, including upgrades and deployments.

Key responsibilities include reviewing moderately complex technical challenges, resolving issues, and leading a team to meet client needs while leveraging a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements.

Collaboration and consultation with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers are essential to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals, lead projects, and act as an escalation point, providing guidance and direction to less experienced staff.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in Python, Spark (Apache Spark or Pyspark), big query (GCP) and UNIX experience Software Enterprise Application development and uses continuous integration and delivery when developing code
  • Experience of Banking/ Financial technology domain will be preferred

Works with Engineering Manager, Product Owner, and Team to ensure that the product is delivered with quality, on time and within scope, works with internal IT Teams to coordinate project interlocks and deployments, strong verbal and written communication skills should be able to work in global development environment.
