As a Tax Regulatory Specialist, you will utilize your analytical skills to analyze financial data and assess compliance requirements. Effective communication skills are crucial in liaising with clients and colleagues.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in U.S. taxation, preferably with 4+ years of experience. You will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely tax returns for federal, state, and local jurisdictions (Forms 1120, 1120-S, 1065, 990, 1040 etc.). Filing experience will be an added advantage. Additionally, you will need to prepare and file accurate and timely sales tax returns. Experience with form 5471, 8865, 5472 and other international tax filing is preferred. The successful candidate will also possess strong project management skills, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, including responding to tax notices. Furthermore, you will stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize tax liabilities.

This role requires extensive research on various regulations applicable on corporations at federal as well as various state levels to provide timely guidance to clients. You will also be able to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills are essential. Experience of working on 2 or more US taxation software, such as Drake, TaxSlayer Pro, UltraTax, Intuit ProConnect, Lacerte Tax, CCH Axcess, is necessary. Knowledge of QuickBooks and CCH Axcess systems is also required. The qualifications for this role include 4+ years of experience in the US taxation, familiarity with U.S. tax regulations and compliance frameworks, excellent communication skills, and a Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field. Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) is also necessary.
