Job Title

Principal Pipelines Engineer/Associate Position

Key Responsibilities:
  • We are seeking an experienced civil engineer to lead the design and implementation of water and wastewater networks.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydraulic calculations, analysis, and design, as well as experience with multidisciplinary projects.
  • This role involves working closely with other disciplines to deliver high-quality results on time.
  • The selected individual should be familiar with relevant industry standards and client specifications.
  • As a principal pipelines engineer, you will oversee the designers' duties under the contract and ensure that all documentation is current, accurate, and compliant.
  • You will also drive innovation into designs, standardize workflows based on project requirements, and communicate effectively with internal and external clients.
  • A key responsibility is interpreting design risks and assumptions associated with the project and recording this as the project progresses.
Candidate Specification :
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; post-graduation in Civil or Environmental Engineering would be beneficial.
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in water/wastewater pipelines and networks would be preferred.
  • Chartered Engineer or working towards achieving it would be beneficial.
  • The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of the design process and engineering principles.
  • Experience in working on multidisciplinary projects and having good project management skills would be given preference.
  • The candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to troubleshoot and guide team members.
  • A proactive and innovative approach, and ability to adapt to changing scenarios, would be essential.
Software Knowledge
  • Good experience in working on Bentley WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, StormCAD, CivilStorm software.
