About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our IT Infrastructure team at IBOSS TECH SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED. As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our Windows server and desktop environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Windows Server and Desktop Support:
    • Provide L1 and L2 support for Windows servers and desktops, ensuring uptime and reliability.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, and hardware components.
  • Active Directory Management:
    • Manage user accounts, permissions, and security groups in Active Directory.
    • Assist in implementing and maintaining group policies.
  • Monitoring and Management Tools:
    • Utilize monitoring tools such as Microsoft System Center Suite and ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus to ensure system health and compliance.
    • Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement.
  • Audit and Compliance:
    • Support compliance efforts related to ISO 27001, including documentation.
    • Assist in implementing security policies and procedures to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
    • Generate reports on system performance, incidents, and compliance status.
  • User Support:
    • Provide technical support to end-users, resolving issues via phone, email, or remote assistance.
    • Conduct training sessions for users on best practices and new technologies.

Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
    • 2-3+ years of experience in Windows support, including server and desktop environments.
    • Proven experience with Active Directory, monitoring tools, and cloud platforms (AWS).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and desktop environments.
    • Proficient in using Microsoft System Center Suite and ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus.
    • Familiarity with AWS cloud services and deployment models.
    • Understanding of ISO 27001 standards and best practices for information security.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of Virtualizations like VMWare ESXi vCenter and Windows Hyper-v.
  • Power shell scripting.
  • Windows servers like AD, DHCP, File Server, DNS, AD Policies etc.
  • Backups and Backup policies.
  • Monitoring tools like SolarWinds Nagios.
  • Networking and firewalls like SonicWall.
  • Windows clustering.
  • MS SQL installation and clustering.

Good to have Skills:

  • Good knowledge of version control like SVN.
  • Linux.
  • F5 BIG-IP Load Balancers.

Overall Experience in years: 2-3 Years
