Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains master data integrity in SAP ERP and MDG systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Analyzes and solves SAP MM issues, improving system efficiency and user experience.
  • Identifies process improvement opportunities within the department and across the company, implementing changes to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Supports key projects and business processes for creating, changing, and deleting SAP Master Data, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Provides training and support for material master request forms, enhancing user knowledge and skills.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including Design Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Purchasing, Operations, and Finance, to create and maintain part numbers and master data.
  • Processes Engineering Change Notifications/Engineering Change Requests, ensuring timely and accurate updates.
  • Provides technical data to Logistics and Trade Compliance Teams for HSN code allotment of commodities, facilitating smooth supply chain operations.
  • Sets up Kanban and backflush for RM of all Product Families, optimizing inventory management and reducing waste.
  • Works with Global Engineering teams to update documents, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics or ETC Engineering/Mechanical Engineering with 4-5 years of experience.
    • Diploma with specialization in Electronics & Communications or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 7-8 years of experience.

  • Able to interact with personnel of various levels and disciplines, influencing and negotiating complex issues.
  • Basic knowledge of fiber optics, including transmission and applications.
