Head of Internal Control Systems

We are seeking a seasoned professional to serve as our organization's chief audit executive and a vital member of the executive management team. As the head of internal control systems, you will oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive audit programs that drive business growth and mitigate risks.
This critical role involves:
- Leading Audits: Directing a wide range of performance, financial, and compliance audit projects to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Setting Departmental Goals: Establishing medium-term objectives for the department and monitoring progress at regular intervals to ensure timely achievement.
- Guiding Audit Teams: Supervising audit staff in planning, organizing, directing, and monitoring internal audit operations to guarantee efficiency and effectiveness.
- Risk Management: Identifying and evaluating risk areas, overseeing the development of the annual audit plan, and implementing strategies to mitigate potential threats.
- Audit Findings and Recommendations: Analyzing data, identifying improvement opportunities, and preparing actionable recommendations for senior management to drive business improvements.
To excel in this position, you must possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. A deep understanding of internal control frameworks, ERP systems (specifically SAP), data analytics tools, and effective stakeholder engagement is essential.
