Leading a Team in Background Verification

Job Overview

This role oversees the management of a team responsible for Background Verification processes, encompassing employment, education and address verifications.

  • Achieve targets and maintain service quality by motivating and leading the team.
  • Maintain oversight on live and recorded calls to ensure adherence to quality, accuracy and compliance with client-specific and internal standards.
  • Closely monitor case completion while ensuring defined TATs are met.
  • Provide regular coaching, feedback and performance evaluations to enhance individual and team performance.
  • Handle escalated issues effectively and collaborate with relevant departments such as Quality Assurance, Client Servicing and HR.
  • Ensure data privacy, confidentiality and security protocols are strictly adhered to.
  • Organize refresher and training sessions to keep the team updated on process changes and compliance requirements.
Qualifications and Skills Required
  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a call centre environment preferably in Background Verification or BPO industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and call monitoring tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
