Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial records accurately, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial data regularly.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closing reports.
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Tax Compliance & Reporting- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns in accordance with IRS guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, filing deadlines, and reporting requirements.
  • Assist clients with tax planning, minimizing tax liabilities while maximizing legal deductions.
  • Review and analyze tax notices and correspondence, assisting clients with resolution.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Advisory- Assist clients with compliance requirements related to regulatory bodies.
  • Support in financial audits, tax audits, and related assessments.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Cross-Border Taxation and Advisory- Provide insights on withholding taxes, foreign investments, and treaty benefits for US entities working globally.
  • Client Management & Communication- Collaborate with clients and provide regular updates on financial performance and tax obligations.
  • Build long-term client relationships by ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or EA qualification preferred but not mandatory.
  • Candidates pursuing CPA/EA are welcome.
  • Professional Experience: 0-3 years of experience in US bookkeeping, tax preparation, or financial compliance.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP, IRS regulations, and state-specific tax laws.
  • Fresh graduates with strong knowledge of US taxation and accounting practices are encouraged to apply.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting and tax software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, TurboTax, Lacerte).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with high accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
