Job Overview

This role serves as a senior leader for Mainframe and Legacy Modernization, managing a portfolio of services with circa 2500 employees. The incumbent is responsible for developing and maintaining a diverse portfolio of offerings, driving practice growth, managing client relationships by building strong contextualized value propositions across the value chain, shaping the delivery engine and building capability and talent readiness to deploy solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Practice Strategy and Growth:
    • Develop and maintain a differentiated portfolio of offerings
    • Drive profitable practice growth through strategic planning and execution
  • Mainframe and Legacy Modernization:
    • Lead large-scale modernization and migration initiatives
    • Evaluate and adopt emerging tools and technologies such as DevOps for mainframe, COBOL modernization, AI/ML for operations
  • Solution Development:
    • Collaborate with other practices to develop winning solutions
    • Build a strong pool of technologists and architects to bring practice technology thought leadership to solution development and implementation
  • Delivery Management:
    • Institutionalize capabilities of next-gen solutions, including AI, into delivery teams
    • Collaborate and influence internal stakeholders to ensure flawless delivery of projects
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Create strong value propositions for clients across the value chain
    • Partner with clients to drive transformation to adapt to new delivery models and instil new ways of working in client organizations
  • Capability Development and Talent Management:
    • Lead upskilling initiatives across the practice
    • Build a strong talent pool and leadership pipeline
