Senior Technical Architect

Job Title: Experienced Architect – Healthcare Solutions

Location: Hybrid – Flexible Work Environment

Engagement: Part-Time (10 hours per week)

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned technical expert to lead the design and development of our healthcare systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting and documenting system architecture, ensuring alignment with business needs, and delivering high-quality technical documentation and diagrams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and deliver system architecture that meets business requirements.
  • Create comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, integration details, and implementation guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, workflows, and data flow diagrams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure architecture aligns with requirements.
  • Provide guidance on technology stack, integrations, scalability, and security best practices.
  • Review solutions to ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a senior technical architect in the healthcare domain.
  • Strong background in enterprise architecture, system integration, and cloud solutions.
  • Proficiency in creating architecture diagrams (UML, ERD, workflow models).
  • Hands-on knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, EDI X12, HIPAA compliance).
  • Familiarity with data security, privacy regulations, and healthcare compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Medicaid systems/government healthcare programs.
  • Familiarity with modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
