Senior Pipeline Hydraulics Specialist

The key responsibilities of this role include the hydraulic design of water supply schemes and pressurized/gravity pipe distribution network irrigation projects. This involves determining water requirement calculations, preparing zone/water user association block and chak planning, pipeline layout planning, and hydraulic design using Water GEMS software.
- Obtaining necessary design approvals from government departments and vetting institutes
- Conducting site visits and meetings with government departments for convincing, scrutiny & approval
Responsibilities also include calculating item-wise bills of quantity, estimating quantities, and preparing bar bending schedules. The ideal candidate should have experience as a design engineer for water supply pipeline or irrigation projects and possess knowledge of pipeline hydraulics, software (Water GEMS), and relevant IS codes.
Key skills and qualifications required include:
- Pipeline hydraulics and software used for same (Water GEMS)
- Knowledge of Water Supply Scheme & Irrigation PDN project structures
- Different types of pipes, valves, pumps, design manuals, and relevant IS codes
- Water GEMS, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and E survey Software
Reports to: Project Manager
Experience: 8-10 years
Qualification: B.E. Civil/M. Tech (Water Resources/Irrigation/Environment)
