About the Position

The ideal candidate will oversee drilling, concreting and reinforcement placement tasks while assisting senior engineers in preparing piling logs, BBS and technical documentation. Additionally, they will be responsible for conducting field surveys, soil investigations, pile load testing coordination, and reviewing/verifying materials and equipment required for piling works.

Daily progress reports and accurate records of piling activities must be maintained. Effective coordination with contractors, vendors, and project teams is crucial for smooth execution.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring drilling, concreting, and reinforcement placement
  • Preparing piling logs, BBS, and technical documentation
  • Conducting field surveys and soil investigations
  • Coodinating pile load testing
  • Reviewing and verifying materials and equipment

A diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required, along with 3-4 years of relevant experience. Familiarity with bored piles, proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project documentation are also necessary.

The successful candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as knowledge of piling techniques, load-bearing structures, construction materials and methods, basic survey techniques, bar bending schedule, estimation etc.

Additional requirements include good communication and teamwork abilities, attention to detail, organizational skills, and a willingness to learn.

It is essential for the candidate to be proactive, field-oriented, quality and safety-conscious, and flexible to work at construction sites as required.
