We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Risk Engineer to join our team at Maersk. As a key member of our Cyber Risk function, you will be responsible for ensuring that our technology services are modernized and secure, enabling us to become a logistics integrator leveraging a competitive advantage through technology.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively work with assigned portfolios to effectively manage and reduce technical cyber debt, using a prioritized approach to lower the likelihood or impact of a cyber-attack.
- Identification and reporting of new issues and potential risks.
- Provide technical SME knowledge in support of ongoing risk assessments and development of mitigation plans as required by the relevant risk manager.
- Provide 'first line' support for portfolios to consume 'self-service' cyber solutions or services, including threat modeling, high-level solution assessments, and facilitation of security testing.
- Supporting our security operations team in response to cyber incidents, providing technical knowledge and coordinating technical SMEs within the affected portfolio.
- Supporting responses to customer technical queries about systems and technologies within the short time frames of the sales lifecycle.
- Evangelize secure by design, zero trust principles, and cyber risk in all interactions with portfolio technical teams.
- A passionate security professional keen to use their technical skills to make a difference in a global, complex, and challenging environment.
- Experience of working effectively in an agile environment, confidence with tools such as Confluence and Jira.
- Excellent organization, time management, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Resilient, can-do attitude, and ability to work as part of a team.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and able to be understood by both technical and non-technical personnel.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and multiple tasks.
- Ability to work with and build relationships with technical counterparts in global teams.
