Treasury Operations Role

This exciting opportunity involves playing a vital role in the smooth operation of treasury functions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Bank Reconciliation and Follow-up: Prepare and follow up on bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
  • Source System to GL Reconciliation: Conduct thorough source system to general ledger reconciliation, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Journals Preparation: Prepare journals for all treasury-related activities, including money market deposits, FX, bank charges, interest earned and charged, zero-balance journals, manual payment journals, and other cash-related journals.
  • Cash Flow Forecasting and Liquidity Management: Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts and liquidity management plans for various entities to ensure optimal cash positioning.
  • Liaising with Banks: Collaborate with banks on various queries, providing prompt and professional support.
  • Cheque Clearing Process and Reconciliations: Familiarize yourself with cheque clearing processes of various banks and reconcile associated transactions.
  • Escheatment Process: Understand and participate in the escheatment process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Shared Mailbox Management: Manage shared mailboxes to maintain organized and efficient communication channels.
  • Intercompany Balance Analysis: Analyze intercompany balances, following up on settlements and posting journals as necessary.
  • Intercompany Reconciliations and Affiliate Corrections: Review intercompany reconciliations and affiliate corrections to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Stakeholder Interaction: Engage with stakeholders at various locations, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Process Documentation and Audit Controls: Maintain accurate process documentation and adhere to audit-related controls to ensure transparency and accountability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree Requirement: Hold a graduate or postgraduate degree in Commerce or a relevant field.
  • Communication, Analytical, and Problem-Solving Skills: Possess excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to comprehend and resolve complex queries and processes.
  • Data Analysis Experience: Have experience in analyzing large data sets, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights.
  • Accounting Skills: Demonstrate exceptional accounting skills with a strong understanding of financial concepts and principles.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Be flexible with work timings and ready to work extended hours during month-end and quarter-end close.
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure: Exhibit the ability to work under pressure meeting stringent delivery timelines while maintaining high standards of quality.
