Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Finite Element Analysis Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing FEA engineering support to design and development teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience in finite element analysis of structural systems and components using ANSYS Workbench and Classic. They will also have experience in static, nonlinear, dynamic analysis, explicit, rotor dynamics and composites.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and coordinate with design engineers to optimize designs.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience in Finite Element Analysis
  • Experience in ANSYS Workbench and Classic
  • Knowledge of ASME, API, EN and BS standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

Skills:

  • ANSYS Workbench & Classic
  • Hand calculations, Weld calculations, Material properties
  • Hyper mesh / Abaqus
  • Macro programming
