Quality Assurance Expert Wanted

Our organization seeks an experienced Quality Assurance expert to contribute to the success of our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality across design, development, and delivery.

The selected individual will work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to embed quality into every stage of the lifecycle. Key responsibilities include participating in feature design, risk assessment, and story refinement from the outset, as well as reviewing and contributing to user stories, acceptance criteria, and scenarios.

As a Quality Assurance expert, you will conduct a wide range of testing including exploratory, regression, security, cross-browser, accessibility, and API testing. Additionally, you will raise clear and concise defects, providing actionable reporting.

Other responsibilities include supporting release cycles through smoke testing and demos, contributing to test automation strategies using tools like Cucumber and Cypress, and continuously improving QA processes and championing quality best practices.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in web and API testing is essential.
  • A strong background in exploratory testing with clear reporting skills is also necessary.
  • Familiarity with agile practices and UX/UI testing is desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira Zephyr, Postman/Insomnia, BrowserStack, and debugging tools is required.
  • Experience with test case management, design, and planning is also necessary.
Nice to Have
  • Exposure to financial systems testing would be beneficial.
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks (Cucumber, Cypress) would also be advantageous.
