Job Description:

As Senior Global Counsel for Complex Transactions, you will be responsible for providing support to India business and other jurisdictions like Middle East, EMESA, etc., while ensuring the maximum realization of value provided by client engagements while managing exposure to associated risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including global master services agreements, other client agreements, licensing agreements, subcontractor and partnership agreements, and nondisclosure agreements.
  • Provide guidance and manage potential disputes.
  • Develop, implement, and champion BCG contracting policies and processes while also providing commercial support to those seeking approvals on deviations of contract or other policies.
  • Comprehend complex sets of international laws and regulations, interpret them within the context of BCG's global policies, and provide support on new India regulations impacting the business.

Requirements:

  • 20+ years of legal experience with high technology/IP content preferably with a 'Blue Chip' corporate or consultancy and high-quality legal training.
  • Substantive international experience, a willingness to travel, and flexibility to deal with a diverse set of clients, advisers, and colleagues around the globe.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with personal presence to influence others.
  • Superior analytical and creative problem-solving skills combined with talent for absorbing new skill sets and areas of expertise efficiently.
  • Experience in and comfortable working with colleagues and clients who are not co-located.
  • A high degree of professional ethics and integrity.
  • Proficient computer skills: Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
