Principal/Subject Matter Expert-Regulatory Reporting
Key Responsibilities:- Lead complex change projects in financial and regulatory reporting, delivering continuous process improvements through technology and non-technology solutions.
- Independently manage implementation engagements with leading banks, financial institutions, NBFCs, insurance companies, covering automation of regulatory and risk reporting.
- Play a key role in project planning for system implementation, including developing detailed plans, identifying risks, and developing mitigation strategies, stakeholder coordination.
- Explain and lead client conversations on the features of the product, explaining how business requirements are met.
- Lead and design the development of the solution, covering data management, computations, and end-state reporting outputs.
- Proactive approach to process improvement and query resolution.
- Understand financial products and how they impact reporting requirements, and more generally the financial services business, balance sheet, and P&L.
- Focus on total client relationship and servicing a broad range of client needs, manage provision of end-to-end delivery of solution to existing and new clients.
- Communicate project updates to stakeholders and generate regular status reports for management to highlight processes, challenges, and key milestones.
- Lead and responsible for team mentoring, project management, and client delivery.
- Drive the day-to-day execution of assigned client projects.
- Understand the client's business, key strategic essentials of the client, industry, and market dynamics, and make/recommendations appropriate for the client's business needs to drive continuous improvement and generate value.
- Stakeholder management in a project along with project management.
