Job Title: Investment Banking Associate
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our Investment Banking team based in Bangalore.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational, and teamwork skills to support clients across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive financial analyses including trading/transaction comparables, operational/financial benchmarking, valuation analysis, etc.
- Develop pitch books, industry research, deals & peers screening, company profiles, and company-focused discussion documents related to various industries.
- Meet project timelines and deliver high-quality results to ensure 'high client satisfaction.'
- Conduct quality control checks of outgoing reports/packs.
- Engage clients independently on calls and emails.
- Other responsibilities include scoping new projects, structuring deliverables/new research products, producing high-quality informative and visually appealing presentations and decks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- MBA/CFA/CA with 2-6 years of experience in the Investment banking space.
- Experience working on Investment banking projects, including detailed financial analysis with knowledge/experience of working on financial statements.
- Target identification, trading and transaction comps, benchmarking, ratio analysis.
- Pitch book/IM support and company profiles.
- Macro-economic and industry overviews with experience working across various industries.
- Able to work independently with minimal guidance and support.
- Prior experience handling clients directly through calls/mails.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office suite especially Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of databases such as Bloomberg, CapitalIQ, Factset, Thomson, etc.
