Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Network Architect to spearhead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud network infrastructure.

This is an in-depth technical role with 80% technical and 20% managerial capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in designing and implementing Data Center networks, L2/L3 technologies, Cisco/Juniper routers, switches, and wireless systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecting and designing cloud network infrastructure, including physical and SDN network frameworks
  • Maintaining high levels of availability, flexibility, and network performance while ensuring SLAs are met
  • Maintaining, auditing, reviewing, and updating infrastructure documentation
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams on day-to-day changes, incidents, and requests
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to team members, evaluating their performance, and providing feedback
  • Monitoring and analyzing key performance metrics to assess risks, business impact, and provide recommendations
  • Developing differentiated solution presentations and technical proposals related to cloud network infrastructure

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 6-8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining DataCenter networks, L2/L3 technologies, Cisco/Juniper routers, switches, and wireless systems
  • Strong fundamentals and understanding of WAN & Routing technologies, Security technologies, Switching technologies, and Network monitoring Protocols & Tools
  • Familiarity with QoS, Network monitoring tools (SNMP, NetFlow, Zabbix, PRTG), and good knowledge of SDN Technologies, preferably hands-on experience on any one of the SDN providers – VMWare NSX, Juniper Contrail/Tungsten, Arista, Cisco
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills, self-starting ability, project management, and completion of complex network tasks with minimal guidance
  • Motivated learner with ability to quickly learn new technologies and keep networking skills current with emerging technologies
  • Experience in handling a team of minimum 4 people in the above role
