Job Overview

About the Role:

We are seeking a caring and empathetic Psychologist to join our team. As a key member of our mental health support service, you will provide overnight support to students, conduct in-person counseling sessions, and facilitate walk-in sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide mental health support on a rotational basis (10 PM – 6 AM).
  • Conduct in-person counseling sessions in student hostels.
  • Facilitate walk-in sessions and manage student appointments through our portal.
  • Undertake floor walks in hostels (along with Wellness Champions) to build visibility, accessibility, and trust with students.
  • Maintain timely case notes, records, and reports while upholding strict confidentiality and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with the team to run awareness drives, workshops, and well-being campaigns across campus.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology (mandatory).
  • (1 - 8 years) experience (or strong interest) in working with youth/academic mental health.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with students in an empathetic, approachable way.
  • Comfortable with flexible working hours, including night shifts.
  • Fluent in English and Hindi (knowledge of Bengali is a plus).
  • Willingsness to stay on campus.
