Land Acquisition Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring suitable land parcels for renewable energy projects in Maharashtra.

  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Identify Land Parcels: Conduct thorough site analysis to identify suitable land parcels for solar and wind energy projects, considering factors such as technical feasibility, connectivity, and regulatory clearances.
  • Manage Land Acquisition Process: Lead and manage the end-to-end land acquisition process, including scouting, negotiation, documentation, registration, and handover.
  • Build Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with local landowners, agents, revenue officials, district-level authorities, and government departments to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Conduct Title Due Diligence: Ensure legal sanctity of land through coordination with legal teams, conducting title due diligence to prevent any potential issues.
  • Oversee ROW Acquisition: Coordinate with external consultants to oversee Right of Way (RoW) acquisition, mutation, land conversion, and compliance with state-specific renewable energy policies.
  • Ensure Clear Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including agreements to sale, lease deeds, power of attorney, and land maps, to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Monitor Local Trends: Stay informed about local land price trends, zoning regulations, and state incentives to negotiate cost-effective deals.
  • Supervise Field Team: Oversee a field team of land officers, surveyors, and external consultants to ensure effective project execution.
  • Resolve Conflicts: Handle conflict resolution and address any legal or community-related land acquisition issues that may arise during project implementation.
