Endpoint Security Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Endpoint Security Specialist to join our team. As an expert in endpoint security, you will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining endpoint detection and response (EDR) platforms.

In this role, you will create and deploy EDR agent packages using centralized solutions such as SCCM. You will also develop and enforce security policies and procedures for endpoint protection, ensuring that endpoints are up to date with the latest security patches and software updates.

You will configure EDR policies to align with organisational security requirements and customize detection rules to enhance threat detection capabilities. Additionally, you will provide regular updates to management on the status of endpoint security, conduct training sessions for employees on best practices for endpoint security, and raise awareness about emerging threats and how to avoid them.

To succeed in this role, you must have strong technical skills and experience working with EDR solutions. You should be able to stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in endpoint security and evaluate and recommend new EDR tools and technologies.

This is a great opportunity to work closely with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of EDR solutions with existing infrastructure. You will also participate in threat intelligence sharing to enhance the organisation's security posture and collaborate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) and other security teams to improve overall threat detection and response capabilities.

Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting any agent related issues, supporting internal and external audit, and providing necessary logs/reports within the agreed timeline. You will also close all identified vulnerabilities within the defined timeline and liaise with vendors and service providers to manage and optimise EDR solutions.
