Pilot Training Equipment Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pilot Training Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our pilot training equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and troubleshoot complex technical systems, including electronics, computer systems, and hydraulics.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical faults, using built-in software tools for diagnostics, updates, and calibration tasks.
  • Assist in understanding and execution of qualification test guide procedures.
  • Accurately document interventions and maintenance actions in the Computerized Maintenance Management System.
  • Monitor and manage spare parts inventory, raising requests as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and report any safety-related issues in line with the Safety Management System.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of relevant hands-on experience working on Full Flight Simulators (FFS), preferably Level D.
  • Strong technical knowledge in electronics, computer systems, and hydraulics.
  • Hands-on ability to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot complex technical systems.
  • Proficient in interpreting electrical/electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Skilled in using diagnostic tools (multimeter, oscilloscope, power supply units, etc.).
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) tools for tracking maintenance activities and reporting.
  • Basic knowledge of programming or automation systems is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure.
  • Team-oriented and customer-focused.
  • Willingness to stay up to date with industry developments and simulator technologies.
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written (for working with international clients and technical documentation).

  • Educational Background:
  • Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or IT
