This role is responsible for developing and supporting the global Sales Aid (imSMART) platform at the 3M Technology Center of Excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in web and iOS application development, as well as experience with database management and cloud technologies.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled SAAS Developer to join our team at the 3M Technology Center of Excellence. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for building, deploying, and supporting various processes across the Sales Aid (imSMART) platform. This includes implementing global IT applications, such as value calculators and product selectors, within the platform.

The successful candidate will collaborate with onsite and offsite teams, vendors, and developers to ensure proper delivery of solutions. You will participate in scrum events, leverage knowledge of Sales Aid (imSMART) components to solve technical problems, develop new functionality, and troubleshoot issues.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in web and iOS development in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • Strong technical skills in structured programming, relational database concepts, system analysis, and design methods.
  • Familiarity with web services and other technologies for data transport in an enterprise environment.
Technical Skills
  • Developing web applications using Angular JS and Angular.
  • Building iOS applications using Ionic.
  • Composing asynchronous code using RxJS.
  • Utilizing vendors' SDK methods for platform-specific functionality.
  • Understanding of AWS cloud, including S3 and EC2.
  • Version control with Git.
ElasticSearch and Database Management
  • Familiarity with ElasticSearch data model.
  • Capable of indexing, querying, and modifying documents using Kibana and APIs.
  • Build and query databases using SQL.
Soft Skills
  • Good judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Self-motivation and ability to learn quickly.
  • Proven ability to identify and own high-priority tasks.
