Application Specialist - Warehouse

As a critical member of our team, you will support business functions in describing and documenting business requirements for the application in scope.

  • Transform business requirements into a development maintenance plan for the application in scope, adhering to global IT strategy and plan, policies, and relevant frameworks.
  • Collaborate with other application specialists to ensure a consistent solution and long-term governance of data.

Stay updated on and evaluate vendor updates, patches, and fixes.

  • Contribute skills and knowledge to the development and maintenance plan for the Application.
  • Contribute skills and knowledge to work on IT architecture and design rules.
  • Introduce new functionality and propose changes to drive business efficiency.
  • Monitor the quality, performance, and cost efficiency of the application in scope.
  • Document and maintain records of business requirements for the application and area in scope.

Also, document and maintain records of implementation of business requirements in the application in scope.

  • Provide second- and third-line support when needed.
  • Provide end-user training, user manuals, and FAQs for the application in scope.
  • Drive testing of the application in accordance with the defined test strategy and plan.
  • Drive and lead the work on implementation of compliance to policies, laws, and regulations and relevant industry standards for the application and area in scope.

Mandates include proposing and defining the development and maintenance plan for the application in scope, in collaboration with business owner, business stakeholders, and the architecture team.

  • Define implementation of changes for the application in scope.
  • Define data architecture for the application in scope based on global data architecture.
