Key financial roles require a range of skills and expertise to ensure the smooth operation of various processes. In this context, the Account Officer will play a crucial part in managing financial transactions, vendor bills, and bank statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vendor Bill Processing: Review all vendor bills to ensure accuracy and completeness, verify invoices, and confirm payment terms.
  • Vendor Statement Reconciliation: Compare vendor statements with internal records to identify discrepancies and detect any errors.
  • Bank Entries and Reconciliation: Enter bank transactions accurately and reconcile them to prevent financial misreporting.
  • Credit Card Entries and Reconciliation: Process credit card transactions and reconcile them to maintain accurate financial reporting.
  • Payroll Processing and Payroll Entries: Manage payroll and enter payroll transactions into our accounting system.
  • Preparation of Customer Invoices and Mailing: Prepare customer invoices efficiently and mail them in a timely manner.
  • Accounts Receivable (AR) and Revenue Reconciliation: Reconcile AR accounts and revenue to ensure accuracy and detect any discrepancies.
  • Document Checklist, Document Library and Client Reports: Maintain up-to-date document checklists, document libraries, and client reports.
  • Sales Tax Calculation and Filing: Calculate and file sales tax returns according to regulatory requirements.
  • Payroll Reconciliation: Verify payroll transactions to prevent financial errors.
  • Accruals, Prepayments, Deferred Revenue, Depreciation and Month-End Adjustments: Accurately record and reconcile accruals, prepayments, deferred revenue, depreciation, and month-end adjustments.
  • Internal Communication: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve routine queries and questions.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in preparing financial statements.
Requirements
  • Mandatory experience in Key Performance Outsourcing (KPO).
