Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic credit leader to manage and optimize our personal loan portfolio through end-to-end underwriting and monitoring.

This role requires a deep understanding of risk performance, policy formulation, and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large datasets, developing data-driven solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Underwriting Strategy
  • Develop and implement underwriting policies that align with business objectives.
  • Work closely with the Data Science team to analyze underwriting models and validate their performance.
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend changes to enhance portfolio profitability.
Performance Monitoring
  • Monitor portfolio performance and risk metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct regular credit reviews to assess portfolio health and recommend policy adjustments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
New Partner Integrations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new channel partners to ensure seamless integration into our portfolio.
  • Create policies that align with partner offerings and segment requirements.
  • Facilitate data room exercises to ensure accurate information exchange.
Relationship Management
  • Manage relationships with partners, credit reporting agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Qualifications
  • Postgraduate degree in Finance, Statistics, or Management from a reputable institution.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in risk management, policy creation, and data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of risk performance, data-driven decision making, and stakeholder management.
