Job Title: Network Administrator

We seek an experienced IT professional to oversee and manage our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze network performance, including ISP, DC, DR, MPLS, and P2P link monitoring for optimal system functioning.
  • Analyze and prepare detailed inventory of network devices for routine maintenance tasks.

Security Operations:

  • Implement and manage firewall access controls, IP whitelisting, and blocking of malicious IPs according to SOC guidelines.
  • Review and maintain accurate firewall rule bases, monitor NIPS/IPS logs for signature deployment.

Device Configuration & Backup:

  • Regularly perform backups of critical network devices and restore them as necessary.
  • Modify VLAN settings on L2 switches and reset network device passwords to ensure secure operations.

Access & User Management:

  • Activate or deactivate domain IDs and VPNs for users based on their assigned roles.
  • Monitor and report on administrative access changes.

Load Balancer Operations:

  • Configure, backup, and create new application rules for load balancers.

Incident & Change Management:

  • Address Level 1 incidents via email and phone calls in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement RFCs, coordinate with OEMs for troubleshooting services.

Cloud & Virtualization Awareness:

  • Familiarity with AWS and Azure firewalls and security features.
  • Understanding of ACI/AVS switch installation processes.
