Cybersecurity Specialist Position

The primary function of this role is to oversee the protection and security of our digital infrastructure. This includes defining, building, and shaping the future of cybersecurity and risk posture. The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders to identify vulnerabilities and implement strategies to mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Detect and analyze potential threats across our environment.
  • Evaluate the risk of detected vulnerabilities to determine their impact.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to track remediation efforts until closure.
  • Manage and maintain tools used to support vulnerability management processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security developments and technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a similar role or as a vulnerability management specialist.
  • Familiarity with security vulnerability detection technology such as Qualys.
  • Strong understanding of multiple IT, Security, and Software disciplines.
  • Able to understand cause-and-effect relationships between application and Operating System vulnerabilities.
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
  • Basic knowledge of malware operation, indicators, or threat.
  • Moderate knowledge of current threat landscape.
  • Entry-level Cybersecurity certifications are a plus.
