Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Systems Engineer to join our team. This is a challenging role that requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, install, test, and commission mechanical systems in data center projects, including HVAC, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, fire fighting, plumbing, and drainage systems.
  • Review design drawings, technical specifications, and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Perform load calculations, heat load analysis, equipment sizing, and selection of HVAC systems to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols at site.
  • Plan preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for mechanical equipment to minimize downtime and maximize up-time.
  • Handle day-to-day operations and troubleshooting of mechanical systems in live data centers, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Support procurement activities by evaluating technical capabilities of mechanical equipment vendors and materials.
  • Coordinate with electrical, civil, and other teams for smooth project execution and delivery.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and checklists to facilitate knowledge sharing and improve future project outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • HVAC System Expertise: Strong understanding of CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, AHUs, cooling towers, and VFDs.
  • Fire Fighting System Knowledge: Experience in designing and implementing fire-fighting systems, including sprinklers, hydrants, FM200, NOVEC, and inert gases.
  • Plumbing and Piping Knowledge: Hands-on experience with plumbing, pumps, piping layouts, and valves.
  • Mechanical Codes and Standards: Familiarity with ASHRAE, NFPA, ISHRAE, and IS codes to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • AutoCAD Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings using AutoCAD software.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Excellent coordination and communication abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
  • B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable institution.
  • 3-7 years of relevant experience in data centers, MEP projects, or large industrial/commercial facilities.
  • Prior experience in datacenter projects is highly desirable.
