We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow solution designer to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced ServiceNow professional to utilize their expertise in designing and implementing service management solutions that align with business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality ServiceNow solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to understand user stories and requirements, and providing guidance on configuration versus customization.

Main Responsibilities
  • User Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to understand user stories and determine requirements.
  • Solution Design: Design and implement ServiceNow solutions that align with client business objectives.
  • Configuration and Customization: Provide guidance on configuration versus customization, focusing on solutions that remain close to out-of-box functionality as possible.
  • Documentation and Communication: Capture and document design decisions and communicate effectively with development teams.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other ServiceNow administrators and developers to develop effective solutions with a global focus.
  • Code Maintenance: Ensure consistency in code alignment across instances and maintain clean code in update sets.
Requirements
  • Experience: 6+ years of experience working in a design and development role for a ServiceNow Platform.
  • Administrative Experience: 2+ years of experience as a ServiceNow administrator.
  • Transition Experience: Experience in transitioning technology from locally focused to centralized technology service organization.
  • ITSM Functions: Experience with ITSM functions and modules within ServiceNow.
  • RESTful Web Services: Understanding of RESTful Web Services and APIs.
  • IT and Security Management: IT and Security management best practices (ITIL, COBIT, ISO standards).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications: ITIL Foundations Certification.
  • Developer Certifications: ServiceNow Developer Certification(s).
