We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for contributing towards engineering activities throughout the product development cycle of company products.

The Principal Mechanical Engineer will work closely with the system engineering team to lead system level design and testing activities. This includes designing fluid architectures for therapy devices, performing mechanical engineering activities to develop new modules and systems from concept to production, and ensuring product performance, reliability, and cost expectations are met.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of general manufacturing processes such as injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, and machining. You should also have experience in electro-mechanical integration and exposure to prototyping techniques and tooling DFM, 3D modeling with Creo/Solidworks, and preparing 2D drawings with GD&T.

You will be required to perform tolerance analysis and have a solid understanding of fluid dynamics and CFD analysis. Additionally, you will need to have a proactive attitude, a strong passion for product commercialization, and excellent interpersonal, motivating, and influencing skills.

  • Design fluid architectures for therapy devices

Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical Engineering
  • 7+ years' experience in medical devices and Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in at least 2 complete product lifecycles
  • Electro-mechanical integration and exposure
  • Solid understanding of general manufacturing processes
  • Experience in prototyping techniques and tooling DFM
  • Ability to perform tolerance analysis
  • Familiarity with fluid dynamics and CFD analysis
  • Proactive attitude and strong passion for product commercialization
