Senior Data Engineer

Job Title: Azure Data Factory SQL

  • Design, develop and maintain data pipelines using advanced tools.
  • Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures and performance-tuned scripts for data transformation and validation.
  • Integrate data from various sources including cloud storage, relational databases, APIs and on-premise systems.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows to ensure high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
  • Implement robust data governance, security and compliance best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, CI/CD processes and agile ceremonies.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience with data engineering platforms (pipelines, triggers, linked services, datasets).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as T-SQL, Python or PowerShell.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake or Google Cloud Storage.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, ETL best practices and data modeling techniques.
  • Knowledge of automation tools such as Git, Azure DevOps or Jenkins.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications in data engineering, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools like Power BI, Tableau or Databricks.
