Job Description

  • Responsible for daily profit and loss control and review of non-performing clients across various products.
  • Responsible for credit loss provision, interest, and income releases for non-performing clients.
  • Creation of unsupervised processes to substantiate ledger balances along with reconciliation to sub-ledger balances.
  • Production of timely and accurate management information reports relating to non-performing clients.
  • Deep understanding of review and revenue recognition in line with IFRS 9 & IFRS 15 accounting standards.
  • Review and reasoning of daily, weekly, and monthly income fluctuations across countries and balance sheet movements for non-performing clients.
  • Active engagement with stakeholders across multiple functions and representing PC on various forums.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing and reviewing BAU controls, reporting, and escalation processes.
  • Establishing best practices across various PC processes, streamlining, and automation.
  • Review of key control indicators (KCI) and control sample testing (CST).
  • Supporting control & governance, external audits, and regulators' queries.
  • Supporting new business initiatives and executing management strategies.
  • Leading project delivery and representing Product Control in project forums.

  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance matters.
  • Serve as a Director of the Board.
  • Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Communication skills.
  • IFRS and Accounting knowledge.
  • Banking loan products expertise.
  • Product controller experience.

Qualifications

  • CA or MBA (Finance) from a reputable institution.
  • 6+ years of experience in banking finance.
