Mortgage Origination Manager Position Overview

This role entails overseeing the mortgage origination process from start to finish, ensuring seamless customer experiences and high-quality loan products. As a Mortgage Origination Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of professionals in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

Job Description
  • Direct day-to-day management, attendance, training, hiring, recruiting, and performance reviews for all Junior Loan Officers (JLOs).
  • Possess working knowledge and hands-on experience with RESPA/ TRID review and other federal, state, and industry compliance requirements.
  • Interface professionally with title companies, clients, real estate agents, mortgage loan officers, and mortgage lenders to ensure successful closings.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 6-8 years of Mortgage Origination (Post-Closing review, PQA etc.) and Correspondent experience (End-to-End value chain) in US Home Loan products.
  • Working knowledge of mortgage industry regulations, including TRID guidelines.
  • Management experience in human resources or as an operations manager is necessary.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good supervision, organization, and math skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Sound judgment skills essential to make quick decisions within written policy and standard operating procedures.
