Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage master data integrity in our SAP-ERP system.

  • Monitor, evaluate, create, and maintain master data integrity in SAP-ERP system/MDG system.
  • Support the current MM footprint and analyze and solve the SAP MM issues.
  • Identify and support process improvement efforts within the department, and across the company, aimed at improving efficiencies, service levels, increasing accuracy, and reducing costs associated with maintenance and creation of master data.
  • Support key projects and business processes for creating, changing, and deleting SAP Master Data.
  • Provide training and support for the material master request form.
  • Follow-up and interact heavily with Design Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Purchasing, Operations, and Finance Team to create and maintain part numbers and master data with the cross-functional teams to gather required information.
  • Process Engineering Change Notification/Engineering Change Request control.
  • Provide Technical data to Logistics and Trade Compliance Team for HSN code allotment of commodities.
  • Set up Kanban and backflush for the RM of all Product Families.
  • Work with Global Engineering team on updating the documents
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Electrical or Electronics or ETC Engineering/Mechanical Engineering, and 4-5 years of experience.
  • Or a Diploma with specialization in Electronics & Communications or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and 7-8 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP Systems.
  • Understanding of BOM & Routing structure and ability to read product drawings.
  • Basic knowledge of Manufacturing working environment.
  • Ability to effectively interact with personnel of various levels and disciplines.
  • Ability to regularly contact, influence and negotiate with both internal and external individuals on complex issues.
