Job Overview:

The Senior BSS Operations Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and security of BSS systems. This role involves working closely with IT, cybersecurity, and business teams to ensure the integrity, availability, and security of business-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

BSS Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of BSS systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Manage system configurations, updates, and patches.

Security Implementation:

  • Implement and enforce security measures to protect BSS systems from threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits.

Incident Response:

  • Respond to and resolve security incidents and system outages.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Monitoring and Maintenance:

  • Monitor BSS systems for performance, security, and compliance.
  • Perform routine maintenance and ensure system availability.

Data Protection:

  • Ensure data integrity and protection within BSS systems.
  • Implement data encryption and access control measures.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with BSS operations.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with IT, cybersecurity, and business teams to align BSS operations with organizational goals.
  • Provide support and guidance to team members.

Documentation:

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of BSS configurations, processes, and security measures.
  • Prepare reports on system performance and security status.

Compliance and Auditing:

  • Ensure BSS systems comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Support internal and external audits.

Training and Support:

  • Provide training and support to staff on BSS operations and security best practices.
  • Ensure users understand their roles in maintaining BSS security.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Proven experience in managing and securing BSS operations.
  • Strong background in cybersecurity and IT systems management.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency with BSS systems and security tools.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Certifications:
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ITIL are preferred.

Netsach Global is committed to providing competitive compensation and benefits packages to its employees. We estimate the salary range for this position to be between ₹1,200,000 and ₹1,800,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
