This is an exciting opportunity to join our Mechanical Application Engineering Group as an experienced Application Engineer. You will be responsible for assisting clients in utilizing our GT-SUITE software platform to simulate the operation of electric motors, pumps, and compressors as well as whole 3-D vehicle systems and vehicle powertrains.
Your key responsibilities will include evaluating and resolving technical support requests, developing comprehensive understanding of typical business challenges faced by customers, and mapping features and associated business benefits to address their needs.
- Evaluate and resolve technical support requests submitted via email or other channels.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of typical business challenges faced by customers and common objectives.
- Develop customer-tailored simulation workflows and methodologies using GT-SUITE.
You will bring expertise in gear design, electrified powertrains, noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH), transmission and geartrain applications, flexible bodies and finite element methods, and programming skills.
