Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - Google Cloud Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team as a Google Cloud Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing large-scale cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

You will work closely with our development teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services, including Compute, Storage, Networking, and Security. Your expertise in Terraform, Python, and Docker will enable us to build scalable and efficient infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in cloud computing, specifically on GCP. You should have hands-on experience with containerization using Docker, Google Kubernetes Engine, and deploying Java, Python, or other platforms in a Container and Function as a Service.

A strong understanding of serverless compute on GCP, including Cloud Run, Cloud Function, and App Engine, is also essential. Additionally, you should have user-level experience with Linux distros and knowledge of CI/CD pipeline automation using GCP Cloud Build and Cloud Deploy.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement large-scale cloud infrastructure on GCP
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services
  • Develop and maintain Terraform configurations for infrastructure automation
  • Migrate applications to GCP and optimize performance
  • Implement security best practices and monitor infrastructure

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 3+ years of experience in cloud computing, specifically on GCP
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, Python, and Docker
  • Strong understanding of serverless compute on GCP
  • User-level experience with Linux distros
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline automation using GCP Cloud Build and Cloud Deploy
