Job Description

We are seeking a skilled engineer to join our team in designing and developing high-scale, secure, and maintainable cloud services. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in driving engineering excellence and contributing to the growth of our cloud infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have experience with distributed systems, networking protocols, and database management. You should be able to design and implement major features, operate high-scale services, and work independently on most projects. A strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and security fundamentals is also required.

You will be responsible for building multi-tenant, virtualized infrastructure and ensuring the operational readiness and excellence of our cloud services. Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in distributed service engineering
  • Experience driving feature design reviews, documentation, and UX reviews
  • Strong development experience in Java, C++, or similar OO languages
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals
  • Working familiarity with networking protocols and standard network architectures
  • Good understanding of databases, SQL, and NoSQL systems
  • Experience building multi-tenant, virtualized infrastructure is a strong plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience developing services on a public cloud platform
  • Building continuous integration/deployment pipelines with robust testing and deployment schedules

Security Considerations

  • Reliability and performance are top priorities for our team
  • We need engineers who can build services that can reliably protect our customer cloud environment
  • Experience with cybersecurity best practices and industry standards is a plus
