**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Economic Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Economist, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analytics for Indian markets across policy spectrum and macro indicators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Model Development: Build and maintain econometric models to forecast future trends and risks.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze macroeconomic data to identify economic trends and themes.
  • Market Monitoring: Monitor global economic developments and their impact on markets.
  • Research Commentary: Write and publish research commentary on market drivers.
  • Project Management: Conduct macro and market projects relevant to the Indian market.
  • Support Services: Handle ad hoc requests as requested.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's in Economics/MBA/CFA.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of post-qualification experience as an Economic Analyst/Macro Strategist/Junior Economist.
  • Skills: Strong interest in global financial markets and knowledge of recent developments.
  • Quantitative Skills: Strong quantitative and mathematical skills with data analysis experience.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel, VBA analytical skills, and econometrics knowledge.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Database Tools: Database tools knowledge – Macrobond, CEIC, World Bank, CME, and central bank websites.
  • Prior Experience: Prior experience in macro research or equity research in Indian markets is a plus.
