Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Application Support Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for providing high-quality support to cloud-hosted applications, particularly those on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in monitoring tools and a proactive approach to incident resolution and performance optimization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing support for applications hosted on AWS, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Monitoring application health using various tools; responding to alerts and anomalies.
  • Performing root cause analysis and resolving incidents within defined service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaborating with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and optimize application performance.
  • Maintaining and updating monitoring dashboards and alerting rules.
  • Executing routine maintenance tasks, deployments, and configuration updates.
  • Documenting support procedures, incident resolutions, and system changes.
  • Participating in on-call rotations and ensuring timely resolution of critical issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years of experience in application support or production support roles.
  • Strong experience with AWS services.
  • Proficient in monitoring tools such as DataDog.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux commands.
  • Good understanding of logs debugging.
  • Familiarity with other tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack is a plus.
  • Good understanding of incident management and ITIL processes.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
