Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience with distributed storage systems, container orchestration, and monitoring tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable storage solutions for hybrid environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to storage, networking, and application performance.
  • Implement logging and alerting for infrastructure using Prometheus.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless deployment and infrastructure reliability.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
  • Document architectural decisions, standard operating procedures, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
  • Proficient with Ceph (RADOS, RBD, CephFS) administration and ZFS management.
  • Solid experience managing NFS servers and optimizing network performance.
  • Preferred knowledge of Kubernetes internals, networking, and cluster lifecycle management.
  • Experience with container runtimes (Docker, containerd), Helm, etc.
  • Cloud provider experience is beneficial.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience using the Rook-Ceph operator for Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of CSI storage drivers and volume provisioning in Kubernetes.
  • Certifications like CKA, CKAD, or RHCSA are advantageous.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering.

This role involves working closely with customer engineering teams on cloud projects, including migration, containerization, and transformation initiatives. Experience in regulated environments is beneficial.
