Job Title:

Azure Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

  • We are seeking a highly skilled professional responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud computing systems on the Microsoft Azure platform.
  • The ideal candidate will have high proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of infrastructure services such as VMs, DBs, Storage accounts, Application Gateways, Load balancers, AKS, VNETs, WAF, and DevOps components.
  • Knowledge of Azure services used for Backup and Disaster Recovery is essential, as well as experience deploying and managing Azure tenants, subscriptions, resources, resource groups, NSG, etc.
  • Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent IaC automation tools and technologies should be demonstrated, along with working knowledge of Azure Resource Manager Templates (ARM Templates).
  • Awareness of multi-platform solutions and capabilities, as well as general working knowledge of containers, including orchestration with Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), is necessary.
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps, including Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, and Azure Repos, is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud computing systems on Microsoft Azure.
  • Manage infrastructure services such as VMs, DBs, Storage accounts, Application Gateways, Load balancers, AKS, VNETs, WAF, and DevOps components.
  • Deploy and manage Azure tenants, subscriptions, resources, resource groups, and NSG.
  • Develop and maintain Azure Resource Manager Templates (ARM Templates).
  • Implement and manage container orchestration using Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Collaborate with delivery engineering teams to achieve project goals.

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with teams.
  • Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information.
  • Ability to understand and follow complex instructions and guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ITIL Foundations Certification.
  • Desired Certifications: AZ 104, Azure Developer, Azure DevOps Engineer.
  • Additional technology areas and experience: Linux, PowerShell, BASH, Cloud platform specific automation tooling, additional scripting languages, additional software development languages, data experience, networking experience.
