Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer - AWS to lead our organization's data pipeline initiatives.

About the Role:

  • Create and maintain scalable data pipelines using a range of AWS services, including EC2, S3, EMR, Glue, and Redshift.
  • Develop applications in Python and PySpark for efficient data manipulation, transformation, and analysis.
  • Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring successful outcomes through effective planning, execution, and testing.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions using AWS cloud services and Python/PySpark.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in data integration and pipeline development.
  • Proven expertise in working with AWS Cloud on data integration, utilizing tools like Apache Spark, Glue, Kafka, Kinesis, and Lambda within S3, Redshift, RDS, MongoDB/DynamoDB ecosystems.
  • Detailed understanding of Python and its data science libraries, as well as PySpark for distributed data processing.
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL and T-SQL for database interactions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Snowflake and Palantir Foundry would be advantageous.
