Procurement Specialist

Job Summary:

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing the supply chain and procurement functions of our organization.

  • Minimum educational qualification is a Bachelor's degree in any branch, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Chemical Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Supply Chain Management functions, including Requisitions review, RFQ issuance, techno-commercial bid submissions, conducting techno-commercial evaluation, implementing sourcing strategy, cost estimate, and analysis, negotiations, PO award process, Post order engineering expediting & co-ordination, vendor/sub vendor's material expediting, shop visits, Inspection co-ordination, logistical support, site coordination for material Storage, construction support for erection/installation & commissioning co-ordination with Finance and Accounts for timely supplier payment transactions, vendor development, vendor registration, and performance evaluation.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in buying Rotary, Static, or Package equipment and a minimum of 7 years' experience as a Senior Buyer. The candidate must possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field would be an added advantage.

Other Requirements:

The selected candidate will undergo extensive training on our company policies, procedures, and software applications.
