Job Summary

This role involves managing data integration processes and ensuring seamless execution of ETL operations.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage DataStage projects, environments, user access, permissions, and project configurations to optimize performance.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot DataStage job performance, system resource utilization, and resolve issues with jobs, server performance, and connectivity to data sources.
  • Apply DataStage software updates, patches, and service packs to maintain a secure environment.
  • Collaborate with DataStage developers, data engineers, database administrators, and other teams to ensure data integration processes meet technical and business requirements.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Talend/EMR/Airflow/DataStage/Hue/DataHub architecture, components, and administration.
  • Proficiency in ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and data integration methodologies.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PL/SQL, PowerShell, Python, Bash).
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with users, other administrators, and vendors.
Data Security and Compliance

The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing Talend Cloud environments, including users, remote engines, and workspaces. This includes publishing and managing artifacts within the cloud environment, managing and promoting environments and workspaces, and ensuring data security and compliance.

Education and Experience

An undergraduate degree from a reputable college or university is required. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a 24/7 support rotation and handling urgent production installations, configurations, and support of the Talend platform. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are essential for this role.
